There are 2 ways to search the Appraisal and Valuation Requests lists within the Appraisal Grid app:
- Keyword Search
- Advanced Search
the Keyword Search is a basic search function found on the Appraisals screen and is accessed by clicking the magnifying glass icon in the top left corner. Once selected, the magnifying glass will change to a filter icon and a text field will open beside it allowing you to search for appraisals by:
Vehicle Descriptor (Year, Make, Model or Trim. Eg. “2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500” or “2018 Dodge”)
Customer Name (The customer’s first and/or last name entered when the vehicle was brought in for trade. Eg. “Jane Eyrehead” or “Jane”)
The Advanced Search allows filtering by other Appraisal and vehicles details. The advanced search can be reached by tapping the magnifying glass icon in the top left corner (to open the simple search), then tapping the filter icon, again, in the top left. This will open the “Appraisals Filter” screen where the following can be selected individually or in combination for finer results:
- Appraisal Status (In Progress, Requested, Forwarded etc.)
- Year From
- Year To
- Make
- Model
- Engine
- Transmission
- Drivetrain
- Trim
- Mileage From
- Mileage To
- Submitter
- Appraiser
Once you have the filter criteria set, tap “Apply Filters” at the bottom to view the results.
